Comments:
This move requires two things, the ability to perform the behind the
back butterfly, and short chains (or ones that have been choked up
on). Begin this move with a reverse butterfly. Entering this move
is similar to the way you enter the behind the back butterfly, except
that at the point immediately before the poi meet up at the bottom
of the swing (towards the ground) begin to bring the poi between your
legs while leaning forward and drawing your arms through your legs
and horizontal. Once the poi are behind your back simply raise your
right hand higher than your left as you would with the behind the
back butterfly. When the top of the swing begins to fall to the side
you
may need to let your right hand slightly cross over the left hand
in order to smoothly keep the swing continuing. Just as we entered
into the behind the back we will use this same action when exiting.
As the poi begin to join at the bottom of the swing bring you hands
side by side and draw them back through your legs and towards the
front of your body. Re-enter the reverse butterfly and continue on
with the rest of your routine.
